This issue is mainly about how the website appears in a "link preview"

It seems the homepage does not include any Open Graph protocol meta tags which is the current standard.

From the website:

"The Open Graph protocol enables any web page to become a rich object in a social graph. For instance, this is used on Facebook to allow any web page to have the same functionality as any other object on Facebook"

We can preview and generate open graph meta tags here:

which is the same as shown here:

https://www.opengraph.xyz/url/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.apache.org%2F

So for example we could include an image as well
