Info updating is extremely slow

When changing the temp on the thermostat it takes ~90 seconds to update the HA entities, and vice versa when changing the HA temp it updates the temp on the thermostat quickly (~10 seconds) but takes 90 seconds to than reflect the new temp set point in HA. Any ideas on how to speed this up?

I see something similar on my Homekit. I set the temperature on Homekit, and reverts back to the original temperature, however when I check my Daiklin app, I see the temperature was set correctly. After a delay the Homekit app is set to the desired temperature. I have not looked at the code, so do not claim to know how it works. Is it possible the temp setting is polled at a fixed interval?, which make sense in case setting was changed at the device. If that is the case we a triggered poll can be done after each write? Just a thought based on not knowing the code.
