Mask or hide password in log file

The maven plugin prints password in log file when we deploy with -X (debug) mode. Is there any way to prevent or mask the printing of password in log file or console

[DEBUG] (s) options = override
[DEBUG] (f) orgName = orgname
[DEBUG] (s) overridedelay = 10
[DEBUG] (f) password = password
