When using the React Native example app, going to Android settings and clearing the app cache does not clear the Apollo cache

When going to Android settings, going to the example app settings and pressing the Clear cache button, I would expect the Apollo cache to be cleared as well. However, due to the cache being stored in the async storage, it is considered user data and not actual application cache.

Opening this as a discussion for potential solutions as updates to the example app/readme.
