just adding some details to this as I understand it for clarity sake:

Type hoisting

Type hoisting means the code gen engine moves the type declarations to the top of global execution to prevent code explosion. This definition is loosely based on the concept of javascript hoisting so I may be a bit off in my understanding so feel free to correct as needed.
