Dark mode for embeddable sandbox?

It looks like there's an option to default to dark mode for the explorer, but not the sandbox. Or am I missing something?

On a related note, it seems that setting the dark mode theme isn't working for the explorer either, or whatever gets rendered by ApolloServerPluginLandingPageProductionDefault. When I do this (with NODE_ENV=production), it still uses the light theme:
