index patterns?

With a series of indices (xxxx_2010, xxxx_2011, xxxx_2012, etc), kibana can use a pattern "xxxx_*" 

It does not appear that mirage does this. So, indices of "*" or "xxxx_*" fail with a message about  failure in theauthentication, appname, etc
