Cannot get DeDRM to work - Wrong key? #2441

Hello, I'm very new to all of this so unsure if I've done anything wrong. I am using version 5 of Calibre and version 7.2.1 of DeDRM. I am following this guide: https://github.com/apprenticeharper/DeDRM_tools/wiki/Exactly-how-to-remove-DRM. I am trying to convert KFX files from my Kindle Gen 7 to something readable on Calibre. I have my kindle plugged into my PC and import books directly. When I import them, the covers, titles and author details come up just fine, but the file type is KFX.ZIP and I get the usual DRM message when trying to view the book using the internal reader. Here is a copy of the command terminal in debug mode: During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): I keep seeing 'wrong key', 'incorrect key', '0 keys found' ect. I am unsure how to fix this issue. I would be very grateful for any advice anyone has. |
