System requirements MacOS

What are the system requirements for MacOS - these seem to be missing from the documentation.

Wikipedia says:

>Mac OS X – 512 MB RAM, PowerPC G4/G5, Intel or Mac OS X 10.4+

One can’t help feeling that this spec may be a little out of date!
