create new category on enter

Currently I type in the new of the new category I want, and hit enter. This end up erroneously selecting the first option, even though I never even hit the down arrow to navigate there. Expected behavior would be that hitting enter would default to what is the "new: name" option at the bottom. If using the arrow keys to navigate and select a category, then that could be selected with the enter key.
