How to use a Friendly Name for a Toggle button on the WebUI? #23334
-
I would like to drive a couple of relays, relay 1 and relay 2 with Tasmota. When I set up the GPIO pins the main page shows Toggle 1 and Toggle 2. I have defined friendly names 1 and 2 and they show up on the Information page. I can't figure out how to get the buttons on the main page to use the friendly names. Grok and Gemini have been no help. I have tried ESP8266 and ESP32 with lolin/wemos d1 minis using the latest Tasmota 14.6.0. Can this be done? |

FriendlyName
is not for that, but instead for "human-readable" names to be used outside of Tasmota, like with voice assistants. The command
WebButton
allows you to set a custom text per power channel toggle on the Tasmota front page.
