ALONE

Owner

When a player hit a mob, he owns it for 5s after the last hit. No matter what kills the mob, the ownership status will be for that player. If he keeps hitting the mob, he keeps the ownership for 5 new seconds, if he doesn't, he looses the ownership.

Strongest

The strongest player is the one with the most damages on the mob

Equal

A player in the range of 5 level below/higher than the mob is considered equal and should get the total rewards a mob offers, if the mob level is too different from the player level, rewards should be reduced

  • strongest: 100% of rewards
  • !strongest: 50% of rewards
• !owner:
  • strongest:
    • equal: 50% of rewards
    • !equal: 10% of rewards if lvl below mob, otherwise 0
  • !strongest: no rewards

GROUP

The base XP gained by a group is increased by 10% per additional group members that are less than 50 blocks away from the mob, the rewards are then divided among those close enough players

Owner

Same rule as without a group, except that all players in the group are owners if they are less than 50 blocks away

Strongest

Same rule as without a group, except that all players in the group are counted as one source of damage

Equal

Same rule as without a group, but the base level is the average of player's level in the group

Probably better to give some rewards even if the player is not the owner and not the strongest. It's unfair for boss fight for example. I think 25% if !owner and !strongest and equal would be better than 0%. Otherwise it risk to be useless to form group if you are support (healer/tank).

i think that this issue is covered by the fact that damages are counted as one source of damage. so even if you're support or tank, it will only depends on your group and your group only

for !equal, maybe it would be better to cap it at like 5/10% of xp and loot, to assure a reward for the player, otherwise nobody will try to challenge themselves knowing there's no reward

i think for !equal the 10% min is great but only if the player has a lower lvl than the mob... This way players that have a higher level than mobs don't gain something from stealing kills from lower lvl players
