"send to Machine" button doesn't work

Hello,
Strangely, my Send to Machine button (the "play" arrow at bottom right) doesn't work, it's there but greyed out. But File->Send to Machine does work. Also, during engraving, the Stop button next to start button is red and not greyed out. I didn't see a setting under configuration that specifically mentioned the Start button.
Any ideas?

The "Play" button you see in the bottom right-hand corner is not "Send to Machine", it is only active when GCode is already running and after using "Pause" (also in the bottom corner next to this play button) it is used to resume work after pausing it. The "Play" equivalent to "Send to Machine" is the two icons below Connect/Disconnect, next to Progress.

Thanks, Tribo, for clearing that up. That was totally an assumption on my part that the big "play" button would be for send it.
