Can LasrGRBL cut from a certain point? Print and cut?

I'm looking into getting a diode laser, but I need a specific functionality that my C02 laser software has and want to figure out if LaserGRBL can also do this.

What I do is create a full color image in Inkscape with a red cut line around it and crosshairs somewhere for alignment. I then print that design on my inkjet printer and save an SVG of the cut lines to a separate file. I put the printed sheet in my laser and then jog the laser and test fire until the beam is lined up with the crosshairs. It then cuts from that origin and cuts the printed design out perfectly...

is this something LaserGRBL can do?
