Three finger with touch not working with multiple user.

Three-finger touch does not work for multiple logged-in users. It only functions for the first user logged in, requiring the second user to force press with three fingers.

I've never been able to reproduce this. Could you elaborate on whether MiddleClick is installed system-wide or per-user?

I'd also like to know this Terminal command's result in your case:

I'm able to consistently reproduce this. I originally installed this to the shared /Applications folder (accessible by all users) and I have it set to start at login for each user.

Notably, this occurs when there are multiple instances of the application running simultaneously, e.g. login as user 1, then use fast user switching to change to user 2 (which leaves all user 1's process running in the background). Upon switching to user 2, the middle click no longer works. If I then use activity monitor to kill the other user's middle click process, it starts working again.

Right, seems correct, I'm able to reproduce this. There is a theoretical fix at #87. I also suppose it may be possible to just initially tap into the run loop in a way that can't bypass user sessions. Testing this with just the "mouse" callback or the "touch" callback should also be beneficial.

Don't have time for this myself right now though.
