Is it possible to animate drawings?

Thank you for creating this fun and useful plugin!

I was wondering if it is somehow possible to use this to animate drawings, to record videos.

I often find that when recording videos and drawing "live" as the video is recording, I make mistakes, and it incurs a lot of trouble editing later.

But if I don't record them, the drawings only show up as static images, when I would like them to look animated.

Is there some way of recording pen strokes in a sequence, and playing them when a slide is loaded? That way one could edit the sequence of pen strokes to get them perfect, before recording the video.

I don't know of a way to do this with the current version, but it would certainly be a feature that would be nice to have. I see several layers to this:

• animating appearance of subsets of annotations
  This may be doable, but would require deep (and thus brittle) integration into tldraw or weird tricks with overlapping instances. An open question is how to integrate this with fragments in reveal.js.
• full drawing stroke animation
  Like the pen animation in PowerPoint, such that it looks like you are actually writing live. I think this will be very hard to do with the current level of integration with tldraw. Maybe if they add animation support, but I don't see a common usecase for it on their side.

A workaround would be to save individual parts of your annotation as svg files/code, which you can then include in the HTML of your slide, position with CSS and animate with fragments. This works, but is quite cumbersome and probably not an improvement to your workflow. Maybe the solution to this problem is not to add animations in tldreveal directly, but to make this workflow of baking annotations into a slide easier?
