Hello. I have 2 TC connected via Phidgets 1048. I want to add gas pressure meter and differential air pressure meter, to see measures in Artisan. Any chances to connect these sensors via another Phidgets devices?

Can I connect 2 phidgets devices via usb to artisan? Phidgets 1048 for TC readings, and Phidgets VINT hub with 2 pieces of phidgets DAQ1400 to connect gas pressure meter and differential air pressure meter . Or I need to exclude 1048 and add TMP1101 to Vint hub to connect termocouples?

The 1018 is more of an historic totally outdated module (as all USB Phidgets). They connect directly via USB. Therefore the name. There is no good reason to still purchase USB Phidgets. I wonder why they are still sold.

The 1018 provides IO channels (as many other IO Phidgets) which can be addressed via Phidget IO xx device types (as is described on the Phidget device page I linked above).

Phidget modules are assigned in order to their serial numbers and type. It does not matter how those modules are connected to Artisan. Thus running a Phidget 1048 in parallel to a DAQ1400 connected via a Phidget hub should work just fine.

Yes. You can add gas and differential pressure sensors, but you need another Phidget with analog inputs (like a VINT Hub + analog input module) or a Phidget 4–20 mA interface if your sensors use current loop. The 1048 can’t read pressure sensors directly.
