In case of regular Fan/Power commands, the slider value is just substituted for the {} variable and the resulting string is send to the serial port. No magic here and not much that could go wrong, but for communication issues. The +- actions work very similar, just that they take the current event value and add to or subtract the new value from the current value before the substitution. No magic on the Artisan side here either. This mechanism is unchanged for years and in use by many thousand setups. So I would be very surprised if there is an issue in the implementation on the Artisan side. In your last paragraph you refer to "Multiple Event" actions which is quite a separate thing and used to trigger event buttons. Maybe the best would be to share your whole setup that one can get an idea on what exactly you are doing. Either make screenshots of the relevant configurations or attach your artisan-setttings.aset file after renaming it to end in .txt (export via menu Help >> Save Settings). |

I think I'm getting some odd Fan behavior from my button commands{} The command type Fan with action "Serial Command" and value of 100 "DCFAN,{}" may be causing the fan to stall (though slider goes to 100) but the ±Fan command type /Serial Command of "+100" works fine. Slider works fine too.
I think something similar happens with the Power command going to 0 (I get it to work with "±Power", Serial Command, OT1,{} and a value of -100.
I'm still trouble-shooting as it was somewhat intermittent and confusing but wondering if someone can confirm that I'm using the right commands.
Also, When I try to use "Multiple Event" it seems particularly prone to the above glitch (it is even possible that that is the entire cause of the glitch, but I'm not positive.
BTW: I'm using the latest version of Artisan.
Thanks.
