Gas % suddenly not tracking within Artisan

This is my first time using this forum so apologizes if i mess something up. For two years we have used an Extech700 to measure our gas % and track it during roast within artisan. Suddenly about a month ago it started to not track and the readings within artisan just cycle been a negative reading a late percentage and something else. Kind of acting like a short. So i swapped USB cables that wasn't the fix, i ensures my usb drivers were up to date and made sure from what i can remember the settings within artisan were accurate and nothing has seemed to work. I've attached a video to this post. For the life of me i can't figure out what has happened.

Looks to me like a communication issue. Maybe an problem with the serial driver, or configured for the wrong serial port or serial setting. Or the devices configuration changed. There are devices that need to explicitly enable the external communication port. Check the manual of the device and verify the serial connection parameter in Artisan.

Agree, the "u.u" means it's not connected to a device, so the fact it can read from it, then can't, shows there's some form of comms issue. From memory the Extech are a serial device, you could open Device Manager in Windows and look at the serial ports and see if the port is appearing/disappearing along the same times that Artisan is having problems reading it.

Thank you for the replies. I'll start playing around with it today! From what I see the serial ports aren't disappearing when artisan is showing the reading errors. I'll go through the settings and make sure something was accidently disabled
