When I tried to install the Artisan new version 3.1.4 on my PC, my AV detected a malware IDP generic, could it be a false alarm, has it ever happened to anyone?

Don't worry. Artisan is one of the few software programs I would install on a completely unprotected PC.

With Artisan, no personal data is collected. Locations, contact lists, preferences, etc. Many operating systems issue warnings about open-source software because some require expensive certificates. The most dangerous software offerings are found in app stores and social media apps with AI support.

Be free and educate your AV software. They can always trust Artisan.
