Without the register map it is a guess, but if you have "full access to the PLC project" I wonder what that means if this does not include the register map which is key to any PLC project. Anyhow, without the register map you can only guess. The simple Artisan MODBUS scanner might be helpful (or not). You find it in the MODBUS tab. Just click the SCAN button there. |

Hi, I’m trying to connect Artisan to a drum roaster that uses a Fatek FBs PLC with an Ethernet module (FBs-CBE). I have access to the full PLC project, but the Modbus register map is not documented.
I’m looking for guidance on how to safely configure Artisan over Modbus TCP (read temps + eventually gas/fan/drum control) and how to identify the correct PLC registers.
Any help or examples would be appreciated. Thank you!
