What do you think libindi uses? There is not a single serious astronomy camera that is supported by open-source driver. It is also probably linked to a fact that all use Sony chips that controls the market. So if I remove ASI and ToupTek drivers only camera would be either supported by libgphoto2 (DSLR - because most derived from file transfer protocols) or several USB video class cameras like sv105c - that are frankly very limited due to lack of RAW format access. So only really useful case would be DSLR that is nice but not sure worse the effort maintaining a separate distribution of OpenLiveStacker. (Moving to discussion) |

It would be nice to have a version of OpenLiveStacker on F-Droid. This would require stripping the proprietary components, e.g. by replacing them by libindi.
