Suggestion: fully open source version for f-droid

What do you think libindi uses?

There is not a single serious astronomy camera that is supported by open-source driver. It is also probably linked to a fact that all use Sony chips that controls the market.

So if I remove ASI and ToupTek drivers only camera would be either supported by libgphoto2 (DSLR - because most derived from file transfer protocols) or several USB video class cameras like sv105c - that are frankly very limited due to lack of RAW format access.

So only really useful case would be DSLR that is nice but not sure worse the effort maintaining a separate distribution of OpenLiveStacker.

You are right, sorry for the mistaken suggestion! (I had in mind that the libindi asi driver, at least, was in Debian; actually it is in debian/contrib and includes some binary firmware.)
