Switch in-memory Derby DB to MariaDB

Switch to MariaDB
Currently, an in-memory Derby DB is used by the API which is just good enough for testing.

Implement MariaDB integration
Implement MariaDM and allow user to choose among various other options. By default ship with MariaDB.
