Redesign the UX for search on mobile #79

@mojavelinux

The search is currently tucked behind the hamburger menu on mobile. When the menu is activated, the search field appears at the top of the menu, as the first item. While this works, it's not the most intuitive experience. The purpose of this issue to consider different proposals for the search on mobile UX and decide what change we want to make, if any.

As an example, we may want to add a search icon next to the hamburger menu icon that activates the menu and focuses the search box (i.e. the query). This update would make the location of the search field more clear. Another idea is to add the search field to the navbar adjacent to the hamburger menu icon, keeping it out of menu.

I'd like to welcome different proposals (with screenshots if possible) that would make search on mobile more accessible and intuitive. We'll then deal with the implementation of that UX in a separate issue.
