[Feature Request] Remember the position of panes

Currently the non-default position of panes is not saved after the pane is closed. For example personally I prefer to view the PDF on the left hand side, and it is a little bit annoying to reposition the pane every time after it is closed. Is there any way to achieve that?

It should be possible - I would imagine you'd prefer it to remember the pane positions, rather than saving it as a config option?
I'll look into it when I find some time :-)
