Error Help "A requested feature, protocol or option was not found built-in in this lib curl due to a build-time decision"

I've used this script before but running into an issue with a new machine that is set to install Mojave.

I performed a factory reset on the laptop to fully clean it off and ensure the HD was named "Macintosh HD".

But now when I run the script (even v2), I receive the following error:

"Curl: (4) A requested feature, protocol or option was not found built-in in this lib curl due to a build-time decision."

Any suggestions here please? I get it with v2 of the script as well. I'm unsure if I'm missing something that is needed installed on the laptop or is there an error with the bypass script?

Having the same issue, tested the curl in a tester and the hostname seems to not be resolving.

If the host name isn't resolving you are not connected to the internet

As for OP, not sure, need to look into it.

Hmm, it's strange cause I can use the browser to get to this page, copy the curl command, and from the terminal, I can ping it, too. Just when I try to run any curl command it throws up the error OP is posting. It could very well be a weird MDM network block on curl commands, specifically because I try to resolve any curl this way.

yall gotta update the version of curl. Use homebrew
