Running in to issues with directories

I've tried this now and started over twice.

I run in to this error
Not a known DirStatus
No such file or directory

To my knowledge, I've followed the instructions exactly as its described - so im uncertain where im going wrong.
2019 15" Macbook Pro i9.

Once I reboot it starts over the installation
This time MDM says "Unknown" instead of a name,.
