I'm running Astroid for the first time, but something very strange is happening.

I open Astroid, a list of emails appears, and the following appears in the terminal:

Everything is fine, but when I try to open any email, a new tab appears but only on empty space is displayed and the following is displayed in the terminal:

I also can't close a tab using any key combinations, including "Ctrl+w", which is written in the official documentation.

I have the same issue on Debian testing/sid. Makes Astroid unusable.
