Summary
The tests of the build were broken for a considerable time. Two factors contributed to the decision to remove the existing, broken tests:
- unfamiliarity with the codebase
- inexperience with Atom's testing tools
Motivation
Clearly, it should be a top priority to re-integrate and fix the old tests or to substitute them with new tests.
