Can't install cargo-embed

Caused by:
package anstyle v0.3.5 cannot be built because it requires rustc 1.64.0 or newer, while the currently active rustc version is 1.63.0

I suggest updating your local toolchain, and referring to the probe-rs project which maintains cargo-embed.

Hey guys, many thanks for this follow-up and keeping this repo alive ! :)

Please discard the cargo-embed issue (and thus the title here), as it was completely on me, messing up with rustup local version (Vs. pacman).

The CAN issue is still on (and would deserve another topic/title, I agree) as I would like to properly test it.
My (very small) setup is the Xult board, a PEAK CAN/USB adapter (the black one, with FD support) and a Linux laptop.
According to the header comment on the source code file, I would expect the above CAN bus configuration from the Linux laptop side, but no joy dumping any CAN packet from the Xult board.... :/

We are using linux for everything. So nothing happens? I presume you are using can-utils to see what's happening on the bus. I don't have an PEAK adapter so it might be difficult to test it for me. I might try to test it with a different one. Nonetheless it's hard to say what you might be possibly doing wrong. When you press the button, what does the RTT console say? It should print out some CAN bus status information.

Yes, can-utils and I can see nice successful messages in the console indeed.
So good new you test it under linux too: I believe you can some kind of vcan0 interface set up then ?
Could you share your working ifconfig line?
Something close to mine: ip link set can0 up type can bitrate 375000 dbitrate 750000 fd on ?

I don't have the config at hand now but looks correct.

I can see nice successful messages in the console indeed.

If you don't see messages going through (eg. with candump any) then you shouldn't see successful messages printed in RTT terminal, see ErrorCounters and ProtocolStatus. Have you tried sending something with cansend? What does ip -details link show can0 say? If error counters are not growing then messages are being acknowledged by the other party. @sundbom-grepit, feel free to tune in.

Most Rust Embedded groups have their chatrooms there. Especially RTIC chatroom by RTIC project is a valuable resource, if you plan to use it.
