Feature request - Use Variable for Hours_to-show

It is possible to use a variable like a Input_number for selecting the hours to show ?

Lets keep the other one #41 for an user interface option.
Then this feature request will be the option to use an other entity.

And yes, time is the issue. But as long it's on the list, it will come sometime.
