What happened?

Debian SID
Appimage Ansel-0.0.0+2050~g2ff998463-x86_64 as well as self compiled.
RAW files from Nikon Z5II gave error "unsupported input profile was replaced by linear REC709".
The new Darktable 5.4 works.

Debian sid (siduction), Gnome 49, Wayland.
Same on Debian sid with fluxbox, X11

Test with Debian13 on Virtualbox, Gnome 48, Wayland, without opencl:
Wrong preview pictures in import file-selector (bw and mushy), no error importing Z5II and Z50II raws. Z50II raw work here, Z5II have complete wrong colors.

Second Test EndeavourOS/Arch on Virtualbox, Gnome 49, Wayland, without opencl.
Same behaviour like on Debian 13.

My assumption is, its a bug in Ansel and not a rawspeed lib fault.
Workaround for me: Convert NEF with Adobe DNG Converter to DNG. These works flawless.
