Retouch - circle and ellipse shapes can't be manipulated

If adding only circles and ellipses in the retouch module neither the source nor the target can be interacted with. Only after adding an additional drawn shape or brush stroke, all paths can be changed in size, position and shape.

I may add that by default the %age of the hardness is too small so that one has to enlarge it a lot to be able to get to the rotation tool of the shape. I use the workaround that consists in deactivating/reactivating the shape via the arrow in the mask control panel to be able to manipulate the shape.
