Request for Assistance – Accidental Transfer of USDT to Polygon zkEVM TokenWrapped Contract #334

Hello Polygon zkEVM Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding a mistaken transfer I made to one of your bridge-related contract addresses. I accidentally sent USDT (Mantle bridged tokens) to the Polygon zkEVM TokenWrapped contract at:
0x1E4a5963aBFD975d8c9021ce480b42188849D41d.

Transaction Hash:
0x862ff381db5dcf4722f33ef662a3ed50fa4d1a977e5923b70625e12347047a86

After checking on MantleScan, I can see the tokens under this contract’s assets. I think the contract source shows it is a bridge “TokenWrapped” contract with no withdrawal or recovery function, and only the onlyBridge modifier has control.

I fully understand this is not a regular recoverable transaction, but I’m kindly asking if your bridge administrators could review this case and advise if manual recovery or administrative assistance is possible from your end.

I have already confirmed that:

Tether has not issued official USDT on Mantle network.

Bybit and OKX cannot access the tokens.

The funds remain visible inside the contract as part of its asset list.

If you require any additional verification (wallet address, timestamps, screenshots, etc.), I can provide everything necessary to assist your review.

Thank you for your time, and I deeply appreciate any help or clarification on whether manual retrieval is at all possible.

Kind regards,
Wallet Address: 0xdb086ef6a76cbc0c43d5b308196dff3c6803db20 [USDT erc20]
