Off-season events not shown

Perhaps this is a known issue but off-season events are not being shown at https://www.statbotics.io/events when I select Offseason Only (or anything else I select) from the drop-down.

They were shown for 2023 and earlier but not from 2024 onwards

It appears it is intentional, at line 109 in backend/src/tba/read_tba.py it excludes preseason and offseason events. I would be interested in understanding why this was done? perhaps the offseason events for a season can be queried and updated on demand by the backend? maybe even not using the GCS for simplicity.
