Important

Amplify Gen 1 is in maintenance mode. This repository (part of Amplify Studio / the Amplify UI component generator, which builds on Gen 1) follows the same timeline.

Starting May 1, 2026, Gen 1 backends will receive only critical bug fixes and security patches, and Gen 1 will reach end of life on May 1, 2027.

• Existing apps continue to function — there is no forced shutdown.
• We recommend migrating to Amplify Gen 2 to keep receiving new features and support.
