Is maplibre-gl 3.x not supported?

I couldn't help but notice the peer dependency for maplibre-gl only goes up to 2.x. Is that intentional, or is it just out of date? Is it safe to upgrade our app to use maplibre-gl 3.x?

@ffxsam I'm using 3.6.2 with an overrides entry in package.json. It works for my simple requirements at the moment, so it may be fine for you as well.

It would be nice to know what is happening with this library as you haven't received any other response and maplibre-gl is at 4.1.2 now.
