Issues with interactive shell

Describe the bug

1. When opening the interactive shell in PHPStorm the content is extremely small. It does not match the window size. Resizing does not help also. It has been reported before but the issue was closed without any explanation: Interactive Shell is too skinny #3796

2. When in interactive shell you can't CTRL+C. It just does nothing. How am I supposed to use the shell?

Expected behavior

1. content should match the window
2. ctrl+c should work.
