Upgrade aws-sdk-go to v1.34.14+ to support overriding EC2 metadata service endpoint by setting AWS_EC2_METADATA_SERVICE_ENDPOINT

We need to use alternative EC2 metadata service endpoint for security reasons. aws-sdk-go introduced AWS_EC2_METADATA_SERVICE_ENDPOINT environment variable in v1.34.14 allowing to use a custom endpoint. Would be great to bump the version of aws-sdk-go to v1.34.14 or newer.

Last version of the daemon (3..2.0) was released over 15 months ago. Just wondering when can we expect a new version to be available?

Thanks for opening this issue. We can bump the aws-sdk-go dep version to the latest however we might need to some changes in order to bump the dependency so I will mark this as an enhancement. Feel free to contribute on this issue. Moreover, we are also prioritizing daemon 3.3.0 release.
