unable to delete existing application

I have a couple of existing applications created while working on AWS copilot. But I'm unable to remove them as the delete command says it couldn't find an application attached to this workspace.

I might have deleted the cloudformation stacks manually before doing the app delete. How do I remove the apps from the CLI?

Hey @Ashwinv23. Sorry for the churn. The cloudformation stackset is not supposed to be delete manually and that's the reason why app delete fails to work. We could mitigate this issue by skipping the step though. Thank you for bringing this up!

As for completely removing the app. If you just removed the stackset, you could run copilot app init again, which should help you to create the missing stackset back. After that, copilot app delete should be able to help you remove the app completely. Let me know if it doesn't help!
