Building a new unified and pluggable CLI

Hello friends

We just started building a new CLI tool usin JSII and would love your input.
We are trying to create a command line utility that would wrap other tools/tasks and provide common features, pretty much like Ansible, but extensible with "plugins" in any language.

Right now we just created the project, trying to design how the CLI will integrate with JSII.
Any ideas? I know CDK does this but no idea how... is that kind of thing documented anywhere?

So, trying to be a bit more specific about our design issues...

1. Would it be posible to have the host application provide the code to be executed, instead of the library? So that the CLI could invoke "plugin" in any language....

2. How should the CLI app integrate with the JSII library? Would it be a separate typescript module?
