investigate hanging http connection with s2n-tls-hyper and akamai

Problem:

When attempting a simple http get with akamai, s2n-tls-hyper will hang indefinitely.

This is also observed with curl and the chrome web browser, so it is unlikely to be an issue specific to s2n-tls. However it would still be useful to understand exactly why it is failing.
