Pypi package

It would be great to have graphrag avaible on Pypi and not installable as a git dependency which complicates deployments.

I agree this would be a desirable path forwards. The downside is that we probably wouldn't turn new releases around as quickly as we do today - rather, we'd likely queue up a few fixes and release on a periodic basis.

We're currently reassessing the resources we assign to maintaining this project, so that we can better support it long term. As part of that planning, we have a TODO to publish the toolkit to Pypi.
