can't send mail

hello,
thank you for container. great job! :)

i create a container with docker compose
https://github.com/ayufan/pve-backup-server-dockerfiles/blob/main/docker-compose.yml
work all fine, i can login create datastore...
attach pve and backup.

but i need to ensure verify is ok
so on datastore - options
notification = use global settings

on configuration - notification
add sendmail
additional recipients = my@mail.tld
test
pbs say = sent test notification to target
but the email is not received (i also check on spam)

so i configure smtp
add smtp
setup my smtp server, and when test mail is received fine

now how i can setup pbs to sent mail when verify is ok?
and use smtp configured before?

for now i use smtp
and add notification matchers
