chore(changelog): add changelog archive

With the use of git-cliff and conventional commits going forward,
automatically generating a changelog for past versions deemed quite
a challenge. Thus opted to keep these in a separate 'archived' file,
while newer releases will be documented in the usual CHANGELOG.md file.
