Failed to reset Filebrowser config error

Fresh install with Kindle PW5 (ARM64). When clicking the checkbox to start the filebrowser plugin this error message appears. "Failed to reset Filebrowser config". Not sure what the issue is but looks like this check was added in the last release?

Same error here, Kindle 10 (armv7), theres no filebrowser.db file in filebrowser folder.

2025/07/21 22:46:31 /api/login: 500 (my kindle ip) the resource does not exist

There's currently a problem in setting the password. The new filebrowser binary requires the PW to be at least 12 characters.

I changed the filebrowser.koplugin main.lua, line 71 to
"koreaderkoreader",
and it works for me now

If it started without errors, you should be able to open a browser on your network to the eBook device.

On the eBook reader

• start the Wi-Fi connected to the local network
• start Filebrowser
• get the IP address from "Network info"
• open a browser to the IP address on some other device... PC, tablet, or phone

Mine is:
http://192.168.1.18

Navigate to your Books folder.
Browser should look something like this

That's what it's supposed to do. It says started.
Then get the IP address for your Kindle: Koboreader, Settings (the gear), Network, Network Info, IP: 192...etc
(see the image below)

On something other than your Kindle (computer, tablet, phone), open a browser (Chrome, FireFox, etc)
In the address bar, enter the IP address
Something like:
http://192.168.1.18
NOT "https"
And you should have access to your Kindle's files through the computer's browser

If not... we'd have to check the crash.log in the koreader directory.

I got the previous version working too. Just FYI for Kobo Libra Colour users, choose the arm7 version.
