fix installation error with chatGPT?

Hi, this addon is so great that it's a shame that it can no longer be used in the newest blender versions.

I'm no coder, and maybe there is a lot of work to be done to achieve this.
I'm wondering if chatGPT could help lifting up the work.
I would try myself but I cannot even identify in which py we need to operate.

Could this be a solution to bring back this addon?

What do you mean? ImagePaste does work on newest blender versions.

So this must have been my problem this all time.
I assume it didn't work since 3.1, because I've never been able to activate it anymore, getting this error.

Seems like you didn't download the proper file. You should try downloading a zip package from the releases page and try isntalling it.
