how to set nav item active on click

@2betop @nwind I am trying to set the nav item active on click, tried context.navRef.setState({"active" : true}) , event.setData({ "item": {"active": true}}) . but doesn't work. Please help.

Source code shows nav respects env.isCurrentUrl.

If we return true here, the nav link item will show active. Is there any programmatic approach for the same like setActive which can be called from custom event action?
