Powerlevel 10K (P10K) artifacts after start

Howdy!  I love this tool! Thank you for your efforts.

I have a cosmetic issue where some left over ascii chars prints to screen on start & seems to arise while running p10k.  I have tried about every variation of the shell flags, below is what im using currently:
