How to reproduce
It seems like it acts the same as this, but it isn't the entire issue.
- Cut 6 inches of filament off
- Push the cut-off filament into the Ams
- Put on a roll, and push in filament from the roll until it stops
- Upload a print
Once this is done, it will keep pushing the bed back and forth, trying to retract the filament.
To fully recreate the issue I'm having, here are the steps I had just taken, and it happened - Put on a PLA tough+ roll (black or white) or a PLA glow roll, and push in filament from the roll
- Upload a print with print sequence set to by object
It then acts as if a piece of filament were stuck in the PTFE tube.
Actual results
The print bed will continue going back and forth while trying to extrude filament, with the AMS not actually pushing the filament into the printer. It will also react to a random or the last used AMS slot just a little each time it completes a pattern of going back and forth.
Expected results
I expect the AMS to push the filament into the head at the same time it starts to try to extrude, as it does with PLA. Even if you try to load the filament you are going to use before you upload the print, it cuts the filament, retracts the loaded filament, and restarts the pattern.
